Hi, In version 2.1, it seems that queries with both leading and trailing wildcards (*) always return 0 hits.
I browsed some forums and found that the problem also existed in the java version (issue: LUCENE-813/814) and they found a fix. As I'm only a Lucene 'user', implementing this fix looks a bit too risky as it goes quite deep into the core of Lucene and I'm not very familiar with this patching-system So ... is there any plan / anyone available for a quick fix?
