We are discussing this on the dev mailing list. We may very well skip 2.9.1
release and work on 2.9.2 release which is mainly bug fixes which isn't a
lot of work.

OK. Thanks.
Do you have a guess as to when there will be an official release based on
2.9.1 or even 3.0?

What you see in the trunk is the current most recent code base for 2.9.1
which is the latest and greatest. If you must use an official Apache
release version, then 2.0 is answer.

Subject: Best approach to get 2.9.1 "Beta"

Hi -

It appears that no tags have been set up for the 2.9.x code line, including
the alpha or 11/16 beta.

What would you suggest would be the best set of files to download if we
wanted to work with the "latest and greatest" in terms of beta-level
functionality, but didn't necessarily want to risk just getting the trunk
head?

Thanks for your advice.

Jeff
