Nothing. :) This was a bug. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCY-193 It is now fixed on trunk, and will be in the 0.3.0 release. The other bug you uncovered ("Couldn't completely remove 'seg_2'") has not been fixed yet, but if the Indexer doesn't crash you shouldn't encounter it. Marvin Humphrey
