Hola Carlos, aca te dejo la guia para reemplazar la RTC battery (la
dichosa pila de la motherboard).
Fijate en la guia como hacer para sacar la pila. Deja la maquina sin
pila ni bateria durante 15 minutos (es lo que dice el manual) y
despues arma todo denuevo.
Step 1 - Remove the battery
1. Slide the battery release latch to the release position.
2. Slide and hold the battery locking latch to the unlocked position.
3. Slide the battery out of the battery bay.
Step 2 - Remove the keyboard
1. Loosen the captive P1 Phillips-head screw that secures the
expansion memory/wireless LAN Minicard cover to the bottom of the
notebook.
2. Use your finger or a flat-bladed tool to lift the edge of the
expansion memory/wireless LAN Minicard cover and remove it.
3. Loosen the captive P1 Phillips-head screw inside the expansion
memory/wireless LAN Minicard compartment that secures the keyboard to
the base enclosure.
4. Loosen the captive P1 Phillips-head screw beside the expansion
memory/wireless LAN Minicard compartment that secures the keyboard to
the base enclosure.
5. Loosen the captive P1 Phillips-head screw on the bottom side
edge that secures the keyboard to the base enclosure.
6. Turn the notebook right side up and open the display panel fully.
7. Slide the four plastic locking tabs toward the bottom edge of
the keyboard to unlock the keyboard from the switch cover.
8. Use a flat-bladed tool or your finger to lift the top edge of
the keyboard and then place it upside down on the top cover.
9. Using minimal force, flip the locking bar up to unlock the
keyboard ZIF connector on the system board.
CAUTION: Use care to prevent damaging the ZIF connector and ribbon cable.
10. Remove the keyboard ribbon cable from the ZIF connector.
11. Remove the keyboard.
Step 3 - Remove the real-time clock battery
1. Use a small, flat-bladed tool to flip the RTC battery out of the
socket on the system board.
Step 4 - Replace the real-time clock battery
1. With the positive (+) side facing up, insert and press the RTC
battery into the socket on the system board.
Step 5 - Replace the keyboard
1. Place the keyboard upside down on the top cover.
2. Insert the keyboard ribbon cable into the keyboard ZIF connector
on the system board.
CAUTION: Use care to prevent damaging the keyboard ribbon cable.
3. Push the locking bar down to lock the keyboard ZIF connector on
the system board.
4. Toe the tabs on the bottom edge of the keyboard into the top cover.
5. Press the keyboard flat and slide the four plastic locking tabs
toward the rear of the notebook to lock the keyboard to the switch
cover.
6. Close the display panel and turn the notebook upside down.
7. Tighten the captive P1 Phillips-head screw on the bottom side
edge that secures the keyboard to the base enclosure.
8. Tighten the captive P1 Phillips-head screw beside the expansion
memory/wireless LAN Minicard compartment that secures the keyboard to
the base enclosure.
9. Tighten the captive P1 Phillips-head screw inside the expansion
memory/wireless LAN Minicard compartment that secures the keyboard to
the base enclosure.
10. Toe the expansion memory/wireless LAN Minicard cover into the enclosure.
11. Tighten the captive P1 Phillips-head screw.
Step 6 - Replace the battery
1. Slide the battery into the battery bay until it is properly
seated and the locking latch clicks.
