Interesting article on Redhat and Mandrake (and possibly all the other vendors will soon follow suite).
Redhat for example will stop support and security updates for Versions 6.2 thru to 7.0 at end of March and 7.1 through 8.0 at end of December.
So we are going to move back into the tech times. You will have to patch your older systems yourself or upgrade to new versions.
At least the choice to patch yourself will be there
