I think it would also be nice if these keys were also uploaded (by their 
owners) to the public keyservers; it should be easier for anyone to pick them 
off there too.

However, the most important thing is ensuring it's authentic, which is why I 
was advocating for a local key signing party. Otherwise, how do I know it's a 
trusted medium :)?
