am not being rational but honestly, openOffice never works for me - unless 
its a simple document/slide/spreadsheet that i have generated within 
openoffice itself. 

i always get my documents garbled by openOffice if they were created by 
MSOffice. means i cant avoid dual-booting now :-(

i even did not get MSOffice 2000 to run on WINE as the wine developers 
claim.
