We are working on an open source software development project (OpenEMR)
with the World Health Organization in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania for AIDS
and Anti-retroviral Therapy (ART). Part of the project requires
sustainability of the software development and system administration
through local developers and system administrators in the country. We are
hoping to find local open source developers in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kampala,
and Dar Es Salaam to participate in the project.

The WHO hosted a meeting in Nairobi earlier this week, and participating
in that meeting were representatives from AMREF and the Ministries of
Health of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.

We are trying to locate open source software developers that would be
interested in learning more about this project. If you should know
developers or Linux system administrators that are interested in
participating, I would appreciate you emailing me with the contact
information for those developers and providing me with a telephone number
where I can reach them. San Diego is 10 hours behind Nairobi.

Nairobi - 18:00
San Diego - 8:00

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Walt Pennington
