I have briefly using MTN Post paid with data enabled. I would hardly
decribe it as successful or particularly fast, especially as the data
costs make it an expensive option. I am due to try again soon, so I'll let
you know how I get on.

The last GPRS I tinkered with is the one inbuilt with my phone, Nokia
3108.
Failed to get it to work even after after getting the new Mango sim card.
Was told I needed a data line before I could get it to work. Not tried
since
then.
