Hi Folks,

Thanks for your information!!! I have finally made the remote backup
successful, not with the rbackup.sh script though. Remember I was using
rysnc and after making it possible to ssh to the remote machine without
being prompted for a password, I went to the crontab -e and included the
schedule and the dir i wanted to be backedup

Forinstance this is how I did it in the crontab -e

0 4 * * * rsync -avz -e "ssh -i rysnc" SOURCE DESTINATION

This meant that the mentioned dir will be backedup everyday at 4:00am ...I
am left atleast with the issue of making it incremental and making it
zipped before being transferred which I will resolve shortly.
