Hi all
This is just a short note to let you know that I was last week elected
to
the board of AfriNIC as one of the 6 primary directors by the community
at
large during the Annual conference held in Nairobi. I represent the
East
African Region and have a mandate which ends in april 2009.
AfriNIC is the Regional Registry for Internet Number Resources for
Africa.
And is one of five bodies that administer the internet adresses
worldwide.
I hope to work with all stakeholders in the region to improve and grow
internet awareness and advocacy.
