Hi all,
I've been on the net trying to find accredited Linux / Unix training
content. PDFs are great, but the most comfortable are the multimedia
tutorial videos. Being a person who believes that one's time is too valuable
to repeat another person's mistakes, I feel that the availability of such
content would help train and improve more people's Linux and general
administration and usability skills. I found http://www.linuxcbt.com that
provides various training videos, that are product or service specific.
I know that EACOSS and a few other centres provide some level of training.
However the more accessible and usable forms of training like multimedia
videos would be better suited to the students who have access to the
Internet and "free" institutional computers.
EACOSS and the rest can use and incorporate multimedia content in their
courses, to provide a more "practical" and training oriented product.
Any more related content sources would be welcome.
FRANCIS.
