As you said your ISP is not being clear. Your ISP is the one which is in charge of creating reverse entries since they are (or should be) authoritative for IP addresses they provide.
Your should continue hosting your DNS and tell them to get their act together and fix the reverse DNS entries. Alternatively you can ask them to delegate your reverse IP address records to you and you do the hosting for it - this is what is preventing your reverse records from propagating, since they are not doing the delegation. wpc wrote: >our company currently hosts it's own DNS.
