If you regularly have the problem below, it is better you just buy a
satellite dish and talk to intelSAT.

mmhh, two different responses from mtn so I am not sure to understand ...

Maybe my question was not clear, so I summarize here (once again those are
questions from a user !)

=> of course buying X bundles does not increase the speed: the maximum will
be 1 Mbps. Just increasing the quantity of data ...
Please correct me If I am wrong ...
let us assume that the maximum speed (1 Mbps, megabit per second) will be
constant, one hour should therefore allow me to download (1*3600)/8 = 400 MB.
So a bundle of 1GB would give me ..... 2.5 hours of full downloading ???
now let assume that I want a permanent day connection (or night) and that the
connection will work at full speed, full time, I would have to buy
30*(12/2.5) ~ 144 bundles for one month ????
for instance if I want to download the last Debian (3DVD ~ 12 Go), it will
take me 12/0.4 = 30 hours and cost me 12 bundles ?
i hope I made a mistake somewhere! maybe it is up to 1 MBps ?
=> let us say that I'm a very economic user and I just receive basic text
mail ...
can i buy a bundle of 200Mb and use it during for instance one year or is
there a time limit (like airtime ...) ?

cordially,
