Perhaps. But the thing is that new models are going to come out and
its the software quality that is going to make any difference going
forward. If they port that kernel and the toolchain to other mobile
processors / hardware platforms, anything that is developed for it
automatically goes there as well. I see it as infrastructure right
now, not the final shape an open cellphone Linux is going to wind up
taking.
