Hello all,

happy new year!

I have spent some hours trying to get my huwae cdma modem to work on my
opensuse 10.3 but without much luck.

The modem is recorgnized and the driver seems to be installed as seen from
the output of dmesg below....

</quote>

As you might have noticed, the problematic line is "ti_usb_3410_5052: probe
of 1-3:1.0 failed with error -5"

I have tried to manually load serial usb driver by issueing the following
command as root but still without sucess....

modprobe -v usbserial vendor=0x0451 product=0x3410

Has anyone successfully used the above modem on opensuse 10.3 yet?

Could anyone point me in the right direction... please.

Thanks and regards,
Assey.
