So after two days of messing with radius servers, I've finally got
freeradius to work on my ubuntu box, and MS IAS on one of my secondary
Win2003 boxes. I able to do all kinds of simple authentication, I just
cant find a sensible way to get the juniper 802.1x Port authentication
to work. Juniper experts please respond if you are out there.

I have another juniper question about PBR (policy based routing) the
juniper docs are really lacking on this topic, coz its new in screen Os
5.4.

Ill save that question for another post if a juniper expert comes out of
the woodwork

Subject: [LUG] juniper experts respond: 802.1x mac id authentication

Does anyone have any insight into using 802.1x extensible authentication
as a form of MAC address filtering. I would like to find a way to
restrict MAC address on our VPN network without having to manually
assign IP addresses to MAC id's in 37 separate locations with on average
15 workstations per location, 2 servers, 1 biometric reader and about 5
printer per location as well.
