KDE 4.03 was released today, I just installed it. So far it looks like the issues with widgets and the panel have been resolved. My Conky and other desktop widgets show up with a black background when i log into kde4. I will create a new username just for kde4 so that i don't mess up my current profile since i do use that profile for work.
