As is the case with all these new more environment friendly cars. We will see how far the Detroit automakers and big oil let this go. Ford is promising that their new engine due in 2010 will be able to get around 40 miles per gallon without sacrificing power. My only problem with hybrids is that the battery is around the price of a small car to replace, therefore they have very poor resale value.
