How do you do it yourself. I just called the AT&T corp rep and they told me they don't even get the codes from apple to do the unlocking so even if they wanted they couldn't give them to you

It is easier if you have been a customer for 2 years (therefore your phone is paid off). But you can always do it yourself and it won't be a problem.
