In which case Ubuntu 9.04 is perfect unless the PC is under powered in which

James Edubuntu is actually an add on to Ubuntu 9.04, so that is what needs to
be configured for your modem. I recently had a bad experience with a new MTN
Edge Modem which was not detected by either 8.04 or 9.04. I have in the past
successfully configured MTN modems to work with Ubuntu. Which type of modem do
you have? Simon Vass Technical Manager E-Tech Uganda Ltd http://www.etech.ug

material' in my email. I think I will make arrangements to pick the Edubuntu. I
hope it will be able to detect my MTN modem :) Wire On Tue, 2009-07-28 at 05:04
