Maybe the problem is the internal servers? I tried it using
www.google.co.ugas the "internal server" and it works perfectly.

Try using

RewriteEngine On
 RewriteRule /google(.*) http://www.google.co.ug$1
ProxyPass /google http://www.google.co.ug
ProxyPassReverse /google http://www.google.co.ug
