Hi,

I run ebox, which can act as a PDC and supports roaming profiles. I wanted a
simple page for you to start browsing, but people apparently have gone much
further in using the standard ebox functionality:
http://forum.ebox-platform.com/index.php?topic=2019.0

there should be much more in the ebox forums & manual.

(and yes, you can install ebox from the ubuntu repository )
