What happens when google's services goes down?? Which they seem to often do these days. You have a locally stored cache in RAM? on a hard disk?? what if you reboot and then cannot access any docs? I do like the idea of treating the OS as firmware though, makes it less likely for malicious software to ruin your day. Since it is open source I will wait for the OS to get ported to a more conventional setup.
