Hi,

we never really had ftp issues, but since a few weeks some of our clients are
complaining about error 500 and timeouts when connecting to our ftp server.

The server seems to work fine. I can ftp. (as in: it works on my machine)

But i do see errors in the log when people connect using passive login.

When I try to connect using passive login, I can connect. (from a windows VM,
i can, and i can *not* connect if i use a non-passive connection).

I also hear that clients can not connect to us, but can connect to other ftp
servers.

In short, i am confused and trying to establish a pattern. Is this seacom,
UTL, our server (running in the same config for about 3 years)?

Is there someone that can shed a light on the ownders of FTP & networks?
