Yes thanks, XSane is about the only application that I could also find. Installation was cumbersome (on OSX). Easier on Ubuntu.

The reason for posing the question is that I was not able to find something easier/more polished than XSane.

Am I missing something or is there 'nothing' available?

Victor

Subject: [LUG] FOSS alternatives for VUE Scan

Hi,

I am wondering what you people use as an alternative for VUE Scan (www.hamrick.com ) on Linux and OSX.

Thanks,

Victor
