Hi, After our incredible meeting last month, this month we hope to host some of our LUG members that are stationed abroad. (Not all of them, apparently, one of us is hoping to get married on saturday, so we will discuss our wedding- crashing plans too).
It would be real nice that if you are from far away and able to show up. If you do, we will probably want to know what you do in your daily life and how interesting that is. You can definitly bring slides for that. As a backup, and depending on the current speed of Internet at EACOSS, we can have a look at the openstreetmap editor. The quality of data in OSM for Kampala has increased immensely in the last months. Its now very usable, though a lot of streetnames are still missing. Well, that is something that we can all help with. I started by adding EACOSS and the post-office in nakawa. http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=0.326812&lon=32.614151&zoom=18 And if people are interested, we could see if we could use http://walking- papers.org to map the surroundings of EACOSS.
