Hi,

I figured out my own anwser on the question how you can see who has edited a
line/poi (in Potlatch, just press the 'h' for history)

I also found how we can see who is doing what in the Entebbe/Kampala/Jinja
region.

You can see this as a beatiful map here
http://www.itoworld.com/product/osm/map?area=4045:0&style=_default_osm_users
but then you have to create an account there first.

I imported the RSS feed into the linux.or.ug website though:
http://linux.or.ug/aggregator/sources/1

The list is about 3 days behind it seems.

I decided to write some of the stuff I blurped to the list down in 1 blogpost
on the site. I hope its a useful starter: http://linux.or.ug/node/63

It would be interesting to get a small Ugandan OSM network off the ground
besides this list. Also because some mappers might not be interested in
regular LUG stuff. If you want to join, send me a mail and we can discuss how
we can set this up.

I If you create an OSM account and start editing, you can befriend people,
that might also be a way to get a network off the ground.

Ah, and for the die-hards, there is a whole page on "traffic-calming" features.
No potholes, but there are bumps, humps & Rumble strips to be mapped!

happy mapping!
