I recently implemented two-way replication (Master-Master) on Mysql, i thought
it might be of interest to someone out there - especially considering the
ubiquity of the Database and the need for real time access across
geographically disparate locations, not to mention backups.

I can present this if anyone is interested.

Life is the educators practical joke in which you spend the first half
learning, and the second half learning that everything you learned in the first
was wrong.

Ok, time for me to ask each of you for your ideas for LUG Meeting Topics this
year.

I am trying to plan out a few months ahead to be more organized and to give
people as much forward planning as possible, so feel free to suggest stuff for
the future also.

We have a possible large topics for March or May this year so watch this space!
