(Toronto, Canada: February 4, 2010) The Linux Professional Institute
(LPI) issued a call for volunteers to assist in the development of its
world leading Linux certification program (http://www.lpi.org).
Volunteers are sought for participation in a Job Task Analysis (JTA)
survey for the organization's new specialty exam LPI-304 (High
Availability and Virtualization).

Linux professionals are invited to participate in the Job Task Analysis
(JTA) survey to determine exam weighting and finalize exam objectives
for the new exam. The LPIC-304 JTA is available at:
https://www.lpi.org/caf/Xamdev/jta (survey participants will need to
login using their LPI ID and password).

“With the addition of LPI-304 to our LPIC-3 level specializations, IT
professionals who have achieved that level of expertise will be
well-qualified to implement Linux solutions for “cloud” computing” said
G.Matthew Rice, Director of Product Development at LPI.

Objectives for exam preparation and training material providers will be
available February 15, 2010 and the new LPI-304 exam is scheduled to be
published for June 2010.

As an incentive for volunteers LPI will be offering exclusive prizes
to the first 15 participants to complete the JTA. An additional 10
prizes will be drawn from the list of participats at the close of the
survey. Sample prizes can be found here:
