Thanks for the quick responses. I thought the issue was automake, i
installed that and got the same error yesterday. I currently have Automake
1:1.11-1 installed. I installed build-essential too. Bzip2 maybe the
culprit. I will verify that is installed when i get back and also post the
output of ./configure as well. Thank you, I was also looking at that post. I
used the instructions from that thread to successfully compile it the first
time.
