Does any of you have any connections to Project Diaspora
(http://projectdiaspora.org)? A brief intro about PD is a way of
(re-)connecting African Expats and their African homeland.

How can the LUG be a part of doing this? How can we make a difference
for Africa, or more specifically, Uganda?

I came across DP through a 10 min segment in a Tech/IT broadcast from
the Danish national broadcasting company (DR - Danmarks Radio (Denmark's
Radio - which runs 3 nationwide radio channels, 5 nationwide tv-Channels
and a number of net-based ones)). It was an interview with Ugandan Expat
Teddy Ruge, who lives in the US where he explains the vision of DP and
his vision on Africa 3.0.

If anyone wants a link to the podcast I will supply it off-list but be
warned it is in Danish (surprise ;-)
