Does any of you have any connections to Project Diaspora (http://projectdiaspora.org)? A brief intro about PD is a way of (re-)connecting African Expats and their African homeland.
How can the LUG be a part of doing this? How can we make a difference for Africa, or more specifically, Uganda? I came across DP through a 10 min segment in a Tech/IT broadcast from the Danish national broadcasting company (DR - Danmarks Radio (Denmark's Radio - which runs 3 nationwide radio channels, 5 nationwide tv-Channels and a number of net-based ones)). It was an interview with Ugandan Expat Teddy Ruge, who lives in the US where he explains the vision of DP and his vision on Africa 3.0.
