Actually Chris,
I started with SUSE 9.1, then SUSE 10.2 but I was doing this using RHEL
training. I liked it save for the fact that you have to part with 4.3GB
of internet to get an ISO.
But if you are saying SUSE brings back the memories of MS Windows! I
dont think any other OS is compared to UBUNTU 10.04 (Remember it is a
Debian Package) in bringing back the memories!

Hi all,

Debian is my number one, has been since the days of Sarge. For sometime
now I have not used the green Chamelion but I hate it for its simplicity
a la Yast; It reminds me of M$ and does not give me enough challenges. I
like Debian for its stability and the way it keeps me discovering new
ways of doing things and challenging me to prove my skills. That is why
I dont give it to newbies!!

However, do not forget that the original poster was interested in the RH
family due to jis familiarity with RH and discomfort with learning
something new a la DebUntu. This makes me think that even SuSE will not
be good enough for him.

Cheers

Chris
