I want to buy a new scanner so I went to Kampala Road to check about 10
shops which ones are available. I found five HP scanners and one Canon
scanner. I then checked the compatibility on the sane website and found
the following:
1. HP G2410 -> untested
2. HP G2710 -> basic
3. HP G3110 -> basic
4. HP G4010 -> unsupported
5. HP 5590 -> complete
6. Canoscan LiDE 100 -> unsupported
From these scanners only one works "complete" but it cost USh 950,000,
which is 3 to 5 times more expensive then the others.
Does anyone know where I can get a scanner that is easy to install,
works well and is affordable?
