Hi, Daniel the doc was really long but I landed on http://www.howtoforge.com/high_availability_heartbeat_centos It helped me configure this in under 10 minutes.
Reiner with regards to virtualization am using Free XenServer and I have 10 virtual machines on 2 physical Servers they are working fine. A least when one VM goes down the other takes over.
