Simon,

That is fantastic news, please send us a link to a website when you get one.
Keep at it, it does take time and patience, and we'd be happy to help promote
events so let us know when they are on.

Speaking regarding any of my presentations feel free to download and use them.
I imagine most people would agree the same, but we should probably agree to
license them under a creative commons share-alike license to be clear. Will
look into it and see if we can't get that sorted.

Again well done, and we could start thinking about organizing regional events,
does anyone know of a LUG in Rwanda. I know Kenya has a few. By the way loved
that you did Linux gaming that proved to be one of our most popular events. We
could even think of doing video hook-ups now we have all got fibre ;-)

Many Thanks

Subject: [LUG] Arusha LUG

Hi All,

Inspired by what I learnt from you all when I was based in Kampala, I and a few
friends have started a LUG here in Arusha.

Had only one meeting (only 3 people turned up) so far but many more planned and
things are picking up and from chat and email, I can see lots of interest.

Anyhow, the major purpose of this email is to request permission to use some of
the material/presentations that are on your LUG website. Not sure on policy and
who I should ask so I am sending out a general email.

Also, any ideas, pointers and encouragement is welcome. Below is a rough draft
of the proceedings of the initial meeting.

Cheers and best regards,

Simon Mutama
