Hello,

Anybody here ever had to create one of these? I use secure http, and now
i cant get into my wireless admin due to a certificate problem, both in
chrome n firefox.

Help needed especially since
https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/serverguide/C/certificates-and-security.html
couldn't be replicated on my machine as suggested.

Brian -

Hi,

Could you specify:

- Where are you using https? On your wireless router only? What is the URL
where you have trouble with the certificate?
- "a certificate problem" is very hard to understand. What exactly *is* the
problem? Please provide the exact error (if you get one), or logfiles,
screendumps, anything more specific than 'a problem'.

  Hi everyone,

NOTICE: Please do not forward this message to other lists.

On Friday, October 22nd, the Uganda LUG will host an event titled "Open
Source Journalism" at UNICEF's Kampala headquarters.

This will be a single day event targeted toward local and international
journalists, their organizations senior information technology staff,
their upper management, and other media stakeholders.  The purpose of
this event is to train attendees on a variety of valuable tools and
skills relevant to the field of journalism.  The timing of this event is
important due to the upcoming elections in Uganda and the secession
referendum in Sudan.

This event will feature talks by Wikileaks, CNN string reporter Greg
Branch, Ushahidi & Swift River lead developer Matt Griffiths, renowned
author and Hackers for Charity founder Johnny Long, Lydia Namubiru from
the Grameen Foundation, and more. We will cover topics such as
encryption, online anonymity, crowd-sourcing & social media, data
transfer techniques, social engineering, content management systems, and
more.

This event is free and will include snacks, a light lunch, and
refreshments.  Please note that while this event is /invite-only/ so
that we can guarantee space for our target audience, 25 seats have been
allocated for Uganda LUG members on a /first-come first-serve/ basis.
If you plan to attend, you /must/ register here: http://linux.or.ug/node/684

NOTE: If any of you on this list work in journalism, please contact me
off-list about getting an invite so that these 25 seats can be spared
for non-journo LUG members.

The event starts at 8:30am sharp.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Regards,
Kyle Spencer
