Hi all,
Just reminding everyone that you must sign up for this event in order to
attend as UNICEF has security protocols that require us to provide them
with a guest-list -- a guest-list which will be based on the sign-ups
from the LUG website.
There are 20 seats left: http://linux.or.ug/node/684
Hope to see you all there!
Regards,
Kyle Spencer

Hey everyone,
The Open Source Journalism event has been moved (again) to November
2nd due to a scheduling conflict with the recently announced NRM event
on November 1st. Also note that the number of available seats has
been increased from 25 to 50 -- so sign up quickly if you'd like to
attend!
This event will feature talks by CNN string reporter Greg Branch,
Ushahidi & SwiftRiver lead developer Matt Griffiths, renowned author
and Hackers for Charity founder Johnny Long, and others. Topics to be
covered include encryption, online anonymity, crowd-sourcing & social
media, social engineering techniques, and more. There will be
trade-show style talks, panel discussions hosted by industry experts,
and plenty of opportunity to interact with our featured guests.
Snacks, a catered lunch, refreshments, and a free copy of Ubuntu will
be provided free of charge to all who attend.
All the latest details (and the sign-up form) can be found here:

Hope to see you there!
Regards,
Kyle Spencer
