Sanga Simon called me up this afternoon stating they had a hundred pending subscriptions not working because the site had crashed.
I went in and manually subscribed every pending request, then upgraded mailman to fix the bug. It was only later that I found out some of the pending messages were VERY old requests. Many emails got sent for subscription Many were already subscribed and you would have gotten a message saying the service got a subscription message for your address that is already subscribed.
