Firstly a big thank you to S7 for again hosting us and providing refreshments.
As Victor was detained up country I did a quick demo of Flightgear and OpenERP
6.0 RC1.

We then launched into a very interesting discussion. It started with Reinier
asking a simple question.

"How do we get NGO's using FOSS over proprietary solutions which cost much
more?"

This led us into an active discussion of what topics we should have under the
tutorial section of the website. I have documented the ideas and you can find
them here.

http://linux.or.ug/node/812

I would encourage all members to read them, and over the coming weeks and
years adopt a topic. We will break them down into pages and flesh out each one
with a view of producing a book or similar in future to guide all types of
Businesses in FOSS. The idea is also not to reinvent the wheel, but if possible
link to existing tutorials etc.

Anyone with idea's will be able to contribute once we work out the wiki type
format structure.

Keeping watching this space and we will be sending you some more information
once it is worked out.

Reinier also brought up the idea of maybe hosting Decembers meeting outside KLA
so again watch this space for more information.
