Uganda Telecom is selling those little USB wimax dongles. I'd be interested if anyone got them working.
It uses the bcm_wimax module. I added the USB IDs to Greg KH's staging tree so the module should load in 2.6.38. His tree is: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging-2.6.git staging-next So probably the 2.6.38 kernel will support them. The problem is that I can't figure out the user space bits. There is supposed to be a `wimaxd` binary. I can't figure out where to get that from. regards, dan carpenter _______________________________________________ The Uganda Linux User Group: http://linux.or.ug Send messages to this mailing list by addressing e-mails to: [email protected] Mailing list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Mailing list settings: http://kym.net/mailman/listinfo/lug To unsubscribe: http://kym.net/mailman/options/lug The Uganda LUG mailing list is generously hosted by INFOCOM: http://www.infocom.co.ug/ The above comments and data are owned by whoever posted them (including attachments if any).
