Lug,

on friday, i had a frustrating experience loading ubuntu on a dell 1525,
i downloaded the latest ubuntu distro, and fired up the box,
to my surprise, the wifi driver was not installed, after scooping through
the forums, i started getting frustrated with no solution in sight,
i didnt want to connect the physical network drive due to the complexity of
the network, so with no internet on the laptop, my life was becoming harder
than it should be
i had a skype session with a linux guru, with no success

i later came across a dell version of ubuntu, and was wondering whether the
1.8GB download would change my fortunes,
it did, and the wifi was detected,
