Hello everyone,

I have a daunting task, to document the Open Source Hall of Fame. I must
admit, not even my OSS enthusiasm can help here, so i figured i will
turn to you - seasoned and experienced OSS users.

Would you please spare some time to list your top 5 Open Source Software
applications [Full Range], caring to say how it beats its peers [even as
subjective as can be] and how you use the application [the actual
solution that it is].

Also, please share the OS that you have successfully managed to maintain
on the oldest hardware set/architecture and is still in use by you!
Please share how you are using it -
