Hello LUGgers.
I am running an old version tarball of Shoreline Firewall on openSuSe 11.2
(32 bit). I love those old things for their consistency!
Unfortunately, I have realized that once my OS (server) is restarted, my
firewall does not "fully" start to allow desired packets through. I end up
restarting the firewall to achieve desired effects.
Yes, I ran "insserv -d /etc/init.d/shorewall". I thought adding a cron job
like "@reboot /etc/init.d/shorewall" would help to start the service once
everything has started but registered no success yet. What could I be
missing?
