My case is the other way round. I am running my internet connection (through 3G dongle) on an Ubuntu Mint computer and create an adhoc for the other computers in my home. I just bought an Android Tablet and found out that it cannot connect to an adhoc network. This is a real bugger and am looking for a relatively simple solution (I do not want to root the tablet)
