I agree and disagree with some of the things said... What I disagree with is this: much are there is no dumb question asked on this mailing list, it is prudent that a poster such as the previous one first search for a PHP tutorial by himself and when all has failed, of which I highly doubt, then let him ask the list, stating that I did XYZ and did not find any useful links or directions for a good PHP tutorial.
Simply posting and asking someone to find and send a tutorial, I imagine, is not respecting that people on this list do not sit around waiting to jump at searching for a tutorial for you. Put in some effort in finding a solution to your problem. Heck if searching is a problem, start from asking, 'How do I do an effective Google search?' and use the responses from that to aid you in your search for answers you need. I cannot promote a culture where one sits in the comfort of his chair and asks that all do his work for him. Come on, put in some effort, try to do something and fail. Its better than not trying. Just typing 'PHP tutorial' in Google gave me this * http://tinyurl.com/6c32s7n* the second result points to php.net's PHP tutorial. There are no dumb questions. It is prudent to put some effort in looking for an answer to a problem.
