Hi all,

I've found a workaround for MTN's network stability issues. In short: force
your phone/modem into 2G/GSM/GPRS mode.

This slows down the data connection but avoids the insane stability problems on
their 3G network.

On my Nokia N900 this was as simple as downloading the "2G/3G/Dual Mode
Selection Applet" and selecting "GSM" in the drop-down system titlebar menu.

YMMV. Good luck :)

Regards,
Kyle Spencer
