There are 4 magical ingredients for a LUG meeting: - a Location (which you dont need to provide, per se, but to arrange. There are several places that can possibly host a LUG free of charge, S7, Makerere, Mountbatten/Kampabits etc. You would need to ask one of them if they are available) - a Time. We try the 3d friday of the month, but its pretty flexible. So, for August you could pick the 19th. - Speakers. You would need to ask 2 or 3 people to prepare a talk about a subject that might interest. The easiest would be to email the list for that, but you also might come across interesting people in your work that you would like to present. - Beer & Soda. Not necessery, but never fails to win hearts.
