Hi Reinier,

These sort of thins are a great way for people to start to make a
reputation for themselves in the world of Free software.

Libreoffice have their easy hacks page

http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Easy_Hacks

and Greg Kroah-Hartman wrote a guide to easy kernel hacks here:

http://tuxradar.com/content/newbies-guide-hacking-linux-kernel

So if your not a Drupal user there is still no excuse not to contribute :-)

It should also be noted that these communities are really helpful. I
know the first time I submitted a patch to the linux kernel it was
rubbish. Greg Kroah-Hartman wrote back and instead of pointing out how
stupid I was, he patiently helped me through getting the patch right
and it ended up getting accepted by Linus. So its a great way of
learning from the true experts as well.

Thanks
Tim
