LUG, Being the FOSSFA Country Liaison, I thought some Ugandan developers might be interested in this.
Will be happy to help you - once i have convinced you to become a FOSSFA Member. Brian See below: I was wondering if anyone in the FOSSFA Open Source Development Community are involved in ICT4D projects, and whether they would potentially be interested in benefiting from the SCAN initiative from Coverity: http://scan.coverity.com/ ? We currently offer a SCAN (Software Integrity) scanning service for free to a number of Open Source Projects that meet certain criteria: http://scan.coverity.com/developers-faq.html#how-get-project-included-in-scan I’m particularly interested in finding out if any of the FOSSFA projects have any connection with ICT for International Development: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ict4d Currently, Open-source ICT4D projects are not included in SCAN. However, if any of the developers are involved in ICT4D projects, we might be able to add an additional category. Thanks for passing this message on and letting me know if there is any potential interest / further questions. Best wishes Chris -- Love indeed conquers all..... Brian A. Ssennoga
